Two conferences, four divisions
These are SportsArena365's own NHL guides. They explain how the competition works — the rules, the roles on the field, the postseason, how teams are assembled and what the numbers mean. They contain no live scores, no season statistics and nothing we could not verify, because knowledge of a sport does not require a data licence.
Rules
The laws of the game and the way they are actually applied: what stops play, what restarts it, how the clock behaves and which recent rule changes altered the way the sport is played rather than merely how it is officiated.
Positions
Who does what on the field, the court or the ice. These guides describe the responsibilities attached to each role, how the traditional labels have loosened over time, and what a coach is really asking of a player in a given spot.
Postseason
How a long season is converted into a champion: qualification, seeding, the shape of the bracket, and why a single-elimination round rewards a very different kind of team than a best-of-seven series does.
Standings
